This update is applicable to BrainMaster 2E Modules with Serial Numbers between 1200 and 3050, or earlier units that have previously had “Superamp” upgrade. These units currently have an input impedance of 10 Gohms and CMRR of 100 dB minimum. The “Linear” update increases input impedance to 1000 Gohms, and CMRR to 120 dB minimum. Thus, input noise and interference is reduced overall by a factor of more than 1000. This updates the modules to the best, most recent specifications for these input characteristics and provides optimal performance for clean EEG signals and ease of use.
